Darlington Parkinson's Support Group

Description:

The Darlington Parkinson's Support Group offers support and information to people with Parkinson's, their families, friends, and carers. The group provides a variety of activities and benefits, including:

Meetings
Monthly meetings with speakers and refreshments, plus occasional trips and an annual carers' trip. The first visit is free, and then it costs £2 per person.


Exercise class
A qualified physiotherapist leads an exercise class on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The class is available to Parkinson's UK members for £5 per session.


Social activities
The group offers regular get-togethers where people can chat, socialize, and relax
